Future trip ideas:
Eastern Ontario - Church Key, KLB, The Olde Stone, and another place or two that were mentioned on the weekend that I can't remember at the moment.
North of Toronto - Creemore Springs, King, Hockley Valley, Lakes of Muskoka, Simcoe Steam in Barrie (if they're open yet)
K-W/Guelph - F&M, Wellington, Neustadt Springs, Gold Crown, Lion Brewpub
Buffalo - Premier, etc.

Hey guys
Thanks for taking the trip out to see us, it was a pleasure being your host. Cameron was excited about you guys doing a tour since that's the first time he's seen the general (beer) public since the 2001 Toronto Beer Festival. He has been very busy with the brewery move, expasion and being a new father. Oh and brewing.
Sorry I couldn't do the whole trip, I'll shoot for the next one.

Okay so, I feel like I gypped myself by not trying Corporal Punishment and I'm really regretting it. *Sniffle* I've heard nothing but great things about it...
Due to that it didn't make it into my top 3 list, which I'm sure it otherwise would have...
I'll have to go with Cameron's Auburn Ale, Black Oaks Pale Ale and I liked the Sessions Ale (I think that's what it was called), 'twas at the Judge.

'Twas almost what 'tis called--Session Ale. Might be plural if you were to drink in several different sessions.
Anyway, it's also brewed by Scotch Irish (Perry Mason) who also are responsible for giving us Corporal Punishment. Indeed, some of us really deserve a Major Misconduct for liking Perry's beers.

I was really impressed by the Cameron's Auburn Ale also, although it never seems to taste quite that good in a bar or in bottles...

Yeah, agreed. Cameron's Auburn has always been one of those "pretty good, but not great" beers to me - but the taste I had at the brewery was really, really good.

The kegs that we served at the brewery are the same ones that go to the bars. If you had it at the judge it was from the same batch and just taped this week. If you try it at a licensee and are not happy with it let me know so I can look into it. Could be pushed with air or a dirty line (we clean them 4 to 8 weeks so this should never be a problem).

If you are considering the far east (of Ontario, of course), then think about Harts/Bank in Carleton Place, Heritage in Ottawa (Gloucester), the Clocktower on Bank st., and of course Scotch-Irish (if Perry is willing)...Of course , that becomes a much longer trip (3.5 hrs from TO). You could combine with Peterborough, and come down Highway 7.

Top 3 for me were Denison's, Cameron's Auburn Ale and Black Oak Nut Brown.
Biggest regret was not trying the Corporal Punishment. It was to be next, but we headed over to Chester's instead.

I happened to be in TO and stopped by the Bayview LCBO on the off chance that they'd have some of the seasonal release. I picked up some Mort Subite Framboise but haven't had a chance to try it yet. I also got some Liefmans Kriekbier which I've had before. Mmmm... good stuff.

Andicus, The Judge has the Corporal on a regular basis. I'm delivering a firkin of it today as well so if you're in the area, please go to the Judge and try it on cask. ( call first if you're heading down this weekend though as the real ale needs to settle before they tap it.)
