Tough one... probably a keller from a nice little brewpub in some forgotten Berlin suburb on a hot day.

I've got two:

Many years ago travelling with a colleague in L.A. we were trying to find a place to eat downtown after 8pm. Finding a restaurant open that late in the business district is like trying to find a church in Mecca.
Anyway we stumbled upon a rather large pub with a great local tap selection (probably 30+). The place was empty except for the staff. We asked if they were serving food and they said yes so we sat down. It turned out that they were only open because of a couple theatres nearby and were waiting to serve the after theatre crowds.
Looking at the sea of taps I was pretty excited and asked if I could get a few sample sizes. My colleague also need to sample since he was not familiar with craft beer. The bar tender offered to bring us sample of just about everything, which was great. Where is went sideways was that he poured us pint size samples! We sat there eating and drinking with the staff way past the theatre crowd and closing time. They were all beer geeks and we had a ball. It was also the very first time I had a Stone beer! This was the best oasis in LA, but sadly it was gone along with the building it was in the last time I was there.

My other best was in Beijing, not a place known for good (or even cold) beer. While walking through a small public square I spotted a guy with a pushcart and two big ancient brass tanks. Turns out he was selling homebrew! It was excellent beer and easily the best in the region!

Having a bottle of 1979 De Dolle Stille Nacht at the Kulminator in Antwerp a couple of years ago. The proprietor brought it up from the cellar/dungeon, it still had cobwebs on it, and it was in perfect shape :)

Went to London on my honeymoon. The flight was an overnight flight, and since I wanted to fall asleep on the flight I stayed up really late the night before. Unfortunaly I was super excited and couldn't sleep on the plane. So we got into London at around 8 in the morning I think, took the tube to our hotel and dropped off our luggage. We couldn't check in so we walked around and did a bit of site seeing around the hotel. After we checked in around 12 we rested a little bit and changed and went out some more. In the early afternoon after walking around Kensington a bit we stopped into a pub by the tube station and I had a pint of cask London Pride. I was super exhausted from the Jet lag and almost no sleep for like two days, but that pint still tasted better than probaby any beer I have ever had.

That reminds me of arriving in Copenhagen early one morning with my (now ex) wife, the sun was rising and I was dead tired, not sure how we got there. We sat down in a picturesque outdoor cafe and were handed menus...featuring beer. Not sure if I ordered food, hell, not even sure I remember her name, but I do remember a frosty Carlsberg Elephant beer being served. A great moment, and an obnoxious breakfast beer, but it certainly was memorable.
