Sweet, cloying, unbalanced ,low carbonation, overly caramel malty. Blech. If you paid $5.00 for that bottle, you've overpaid.

I blame my wedding!!! I got married yesterday and couldn't make it anywhere at all this weekend!

My wife is pretty awesome, though, I must say...

...Wow...my "wife"!
Congrats!

If you can make it out to Mississauga, I will give you a bottle as a wedding present.

so I picked up a couple of bottles, and boy were you folks right...I guess I didn't know what to expect. I thought it would be a double maibock...It's not particularly bad, It's just really muddled...no flavour really comes out. Glad I only bought two bottles.

Certainly not worth the $9.

I thought this was quite solid, nothing mind blowing but some of you are just writing this one off without acounting for the depth and complexity this actually offers. In my opinion the biggest downfall is the nose on this, its fairly solid in every other department

It's not a bad beer but I wouldn't consider it great or worthy of all the hype it got in this release. I like Rogue and most of the beers they make, solid yes but there's way better stuff out there in pretty much every style they brew in my opinion. I do really love the Chocolate Stout but I haven't had it in ages.
