I'm looking forward to trying the Creemore.
DDC was sort of a sticke alt... though it wasn't strong and had a resiny, american-like bitterness.
I've only tried the LTM once, and it was spoiled... I didn't finish it.
The Americans tend to use too much crystal malt, rather than getting that pleasant bready melanoidin character from the appropriate continental malt.
I've brewed a few of them now, with mixed results. That yeast can throw off some nasty byproducts. My best one placed 3rd at the first Toronto beer week. It was loosely based on Schumacher's SMASH (light munich and hallertauer), though I used homegrown Mt. Hood. CFrancis actually got me a bottle (and glass) from the Fatherland:

When it's done right, I think a lot of beer geeks would appreciate it... though some are turned off by too much sulfur.
