Have they done a Beau's collaboration?JProulx wrote:To be honest, I've been disappointed with Trou du Diable beers in general. I'll get the occasional hit (BarVolo 25th Anniversary, for example), but overall I've found their stuff to be average quality and overpriced. It's definitely not BAD, but I feel like I can get better value for my money.
Damn cool bottles, though.

TDD is an odd brewery. Generally speaking, I find their barrel-aged beers to be some of the best beers in Canada (Buteuse Brassin Speciale, Nex de Poivrot, Bretteuse, Volo 25th, etc). But their "regular" lineup varies from not so great to "fine". I can't think of another brewery that has a disparity of that sort between their "special" and "regular" beers.JProulx wrote:To be honest, I've been disappointed with Trou du Diable beers in general. I have yet to enjoy the 'great' TDD brews you guys speak of but sounds like I should make a list and go east...

Greg – you've probably already seen this letter, but if not it may assist with getting some answers RE: the Spring Release. Cheers!GregClow wrote: Not yet. And the beer category manager at the LCBO recently left, so I'm not sure who to contact there to get this info. I'll hit a few other folks I know there and see if I can find out anything...

Thanks, cratez. Someone else DMed me the same letter, but before I could follow up, the media invite for the tasting came out with the list.
I've started the new "official" thread for the release - http://www.bartowel.com/board/viewtopic.php?p=130305 - and will lock this one now.
