I always thought that Hamilton had that honour...SteelbackGuy wrote:Ukie wrote:icemachine wrote:200 cases and yet only 16 stores get the product. Ridiculous.
2 in Guelph???????
How does that work?
Weird. Isn't Guelph like the armpit of Ontario? or is that Toronto? Naw, that is the ass crack.
Being the left ankle, London gets one which is good I guess.

I must say I find it a bit surprising that Hamilton has missed out on the Norrebro and Infinium releases. With 500,000 people and a respectable beer scene (Augusta, Chester's, Phoenix, Grapes & Hops), you'd figure these beers would move. Perhaps sales were thin for the DDC and Harviestoun releases?Ukie wrote: 2 in Guelph? How does that work?

It is surprising considering we always receive everyone of the seasonal quarterly releases and the full Christmas Gift Packs/Winter Warmers releases.cratez wrote:I must say I find it a bit surprising that Hamilton has missed out on the Norrebro and Infinium releases. The Harviestoun did so well in Dec 2009 that some of our stores received all 5 this year with the 12 and 18 being sold out immediately and only 20-30 of the 16, 30 and 40 left.
The DDC intial release never made it although we did receive the Rigor Mortis, Solstice D'hiver and the Peche Mortel. Very few of those around.
There is a demand because when I go into the stores the CSRs already know what I am looking for because people have already been in or have phoned.
No Infinium is surprising considering Hamilton is a big SA area but it is still early. Only 25 stores for example were supposed to get the Bombay Pale Ale but I notice 29 stores are listed.
I am sure you Mac alumni remember the Dundas store. Go in there on a Friday or Saturday after the truck has been in and check back on Monday.
Its like "Are you guys moving?" They have a spot on the wall where they put the "gems" - its usually cleaned out.

I'm not sure if that enters into it. DDC and Ola Dubh both sold out very, very quickly in Peterborough, yet Peterborough was not on the initial list for any of the Nørrebro beers!cratez wrote:....Perhaps sales were thin for the DDC and Harviestoun releases?
