Broke my Erdinger glass a few months back. Glad to have a replacement now with three solid beers as well. Roughly $15 it and a headstock came to $17.60 I think (didn't keep receipt).

If you just search weihenstephaner glass on google image it comes up. You can't tell by the images but there is etching on the inside of the glass or maybe just thicker glass lines that run diagonally across the glass. It's just not a standard glass. I liked the Erdinger glass as it was taller but still a nice replacement.

It's a nice one! I have enough Weizengläser but I might snag one just to try it! The Erdinger ones are surprisingly great given the mediocre beer. Also enjoy the Konig Luitpold I found in Hamburg, and the Schneider ones get some use as well.

No glassware. Just the new beer, plus the others we've previously seen (Neuschwansteiner, Weisser Hirsch Allgäuer Weizen, Dunkler Hirsch Allgäuer Weizen)

In effort to introduce a friend to craft beer I was greatly disappointed to find that I wasn't allowed to buy only one Spearhead HSPA from an open six pack.

(it went back on the the shelf)

It should have a single code cashier probably just didn't know it. I generally luck out when breaking six packs. They'll try to scan it. Bois the six scan as single without working. Than ill say can you try the single code (896571) which is just the domestic single bottle/can. Usually works, but depends on who you get at the cash.

Ya. The "beer guy" at my two locals are gone.

The woman at the till had no idea what to do ... my buddy almost paid 13.95 for one bottle. (he was about to swipe his card)

Tell them to use the PLU for premium/import bottles.

...had a "singles issue" at Yonge and Highway 7 LCbo yesterday; while I didn't see an actual singles bin, there were several singles of Boneshaker and Tankhouse sitting on the shelves. So I grabbed two boneshakers to go with my Rogue pumpkin and went to the cash. As soon as I mentioned to the cashier the Boneshakers were from the singles bin she tried to scan, of course 13.95 comes up, I tell her to use the domestic singles code but she has to find her manager. When she comes back 5 minutes later she says sorry, no can do. Before i can even complete a sentence in protest she offers me the manager, so I readily accept. He comes out and says he's not alowed to sell them as singles!!! I again suggest he can by using the right code, he refuses and I walk on principle
(forfeiting my Rogue, damn it!). On my way out he calls out that he knows what he's talking about, cause he works there. So, I continue home, stop at Major Mack/Dufferin outlet, and buy two single Boneshakers from the singles bin which they punched in as domestic ,2.05 each , without even blinking; HONESTLY, WHAT"S WRONG WITH THE MANAGER / STAFF at YONGE and H7????

They moved a lot of staff out of there when they opened Bathurst/16th and Dufferin/Maj.Mac last year. Sadly those stores don't have the same selection of beers that Yonge/7 gets
