That's weird, I thought the Beer Store was telling us that there are eight types of beer, as discussed
here
No, the beer store has 8 completely different kinds, like ALES and LAGERS for example. That's different.

These product descriptions are mandated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and not the LCBO although many provinces ignore them. BRI's beer descriptions have nothing to do with Common Product Names as required by the feds. The issue is not even exact decimal declarations of alcohol but rather the form in which it is shown....alc. X% vol. is not allowed... X% alc./vol. with every period and slash in the proper place and in the proper font size is the requirement because, again, you dolts can't figure out what alc. X% vol. means...what is wrong with you people and thank God we have a government out there protecting you from your seemingly drooling ignorance.

I got the call today that my 2 cases of DFH 60min are in!
I couldn't pick them up as the store was closed! Grrrr... They're only open late Thurs. and Fri. except during the x-mas season.
Now I see that another store in town got a case in. Their usual selection is shite, despite them being the largest store in the city, so it'll be interesting to see how long it lasts there.

If you visit the LCBO website you'll see that there's now a whack of DFH60 available in Ottawa...nice drive this time of year!
