Bought 1 at Keele and St. Claire and there were a bunch still on the shelf. The price does seem crazy to me - I don't usually spend that much on a bottle of wine!

Has anyone seen the 40 for sale at any bars or restaurants, I'm curious as to what the going rate for it is?

Volo has a bunch, but I'm not sure what they are selling them for. I'm guessing a 50% markup on something like this would be logical.

I bought just one last evening at King & Spadina, the cashier made a big hoopla about me buying it "wow, you're buying a $20 beer!" Leans over the counter and says to the people queuing behind me "Now THIS GUY likes beer, it's a $20 beer" lol.. he was pretty excited.

You would think they would have a bell that they could ring at the cash, or maybe they could all come out and sing a song, or even talk in some faux-cajun code like they do at Lick's burgers.

Lots OD-40 at Cooper St.

A certain customer returned a full case of the OD-12, which might be on shelves there soon as well.

Looks like its time to play this game again:

1. OLA DUBH SPECIAL RESERVE 12 YEAR OLD
United Kingdom | Harviestoun Brewery Ltd.
LCBO 107672 | 330 mL | $ 5.30

2. OLA DUBH SPECIAL RESERVE 40 YEAR OLD
United Kingdom | Harviestoun Brewery Ltd.
LCBO 143610 | 330 mL | $ 17.85

These prices are diferent than last year, are they not? The 12 is more and the 40 is less?

Yes this is true.
One more thing I should mention is that this year, the 40 will be reserved for those belonging to the "esoteric order of penis lovers". Strange I know, but that's the LCBO.
