Don't do it man. Really. Just...no. It's beyond awful.
But it's truth in advertising, you have to give 'em that.

I had a little Garrisons (Unfiltered) Imperial Pale Ale, super nice stuff... the hop finish is something to really savor if you like a little citrus on your Pale.

Southern Tier Chautauqua Brew - a decent session (or it would be but for the fact I only have one).

Highlander Brew Co. Pale Ale. A very nice little Bitter that could maybe use just a touch more hops. I wish they had some means of distribution as I would buy it all the time. It's also my 200th Ontario-beer rating on RB.

Victory Hop Wallop, Stoudt's Double IPA, then Victory Storm King Stout. Only three beers tonight, but made them worth it.

Corne du Diable
Aphrodisiaque
Aphrodisiaque

I could survive 30 days of being cruelly eaten by wild pirhanas if I were just allowed a snifter of Aphrodisiaque at tea time.

Where did you find the driftwood harvest?

Currently drinking an Amnesiac, which is now readily available all over the lower mainland. Good stuff... though it doesn't seem like the knock-out it was 4 years ago... I suspect my taste has changed.

Phillips and DDC should do a collaboration beer!

Call it "Amnesiodisiaque." (Makes you ready for lovin' but you forget your date's name.)

Frickin' classic!

So, I'm up at in-laws place today, having the turkey dinner tonight because of everyone's crazy schedules. We had all the beers ready to go for a bad-ass imperial stout tasting, but after the big meal, no one thought they could handle drinking a bunch of 7-10% super chewy beers. I had to settle for a True North IPA and a True North Copper Alt. Maybe next year :(

FYI the beers in the tasting would have been Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout, North Coast Old Rasputin, Lagunitas Ruben and the Jets, Samuel Smiths Imperial Stout, Struise Black Albert and Grand River Russian Gun......pretty diverse, but I chose each because of their differences.

It's out at most places as of Oct. 1, I know Brewery Creek has it in Vancouver, most specialty places have it on the island.

Unfortunately Brewery Creek is already out.
