SOuthern Tier Pumpking. Best pumpkin brew I've ever had, and I really liked the Grand River and Niagara offerings.

Currently drinking an Amnesiac, which is now readily available all over the lower mainland. Good stuff... though it doesn't seem like the knock-out it was 4 years ago... I suspect my taste has changed.
It's out at most places as of Oct. 1, I know Brewery Creek has it in Vancouver, most specialty places have it on the island.
Unfortunately Brewery Creek is already out.
Wow, that's quick. Wife brought me 4 back from Victoria, I shall be drinking it tonight!

Last night, Dieu de Ciel's Voyageur des Brumes, an ESB on cask, at the pub in Montreal. This was really good, the hops had a big woodsy like scent and taste and the malt was rounded and full. Top-grade, possibly the best cask bitter I've had in Canada (together with Granite IPA) and better than most in the U.K. in my view.

... and saving a bottle to share with a good friend?

I've been going easy this weekend, but did get to try a couple new beers. Stone's Levitation is a nicely balance hoppy brew that has a surprisingly light ABV. Ten Fidy was a little too sweet for me. I'd had the whiskey barrel version before and thought it was no great shakes, but was curious to try the regular nonetheless. It was like a dessert, which considering I had already had two helpings of dessert was not a good thing!

I picked up the Sartori today at Point Grey on Broadway (great little store, not as big as Brewery creek, maybe a little bigger than viti). The nearby firefly had some too (in their awesome walk-in fridge... never been there).

BTW, Viti was out, but were expecting more on wednesday.

It's a pretty balanced IPA... I expected it to be a little more hop-forward, being wet-hopped & coming from Driftwood. Well-crafted, but I'd like a little more ooomph. I think the trafalgar actually had more nose.

I picked up another bottle Bobsy... so if Ritz drinks his, I've got ya covered.

I love you guys! BTW, I just sent the owner of Point Grey a package in a BIF! If you go back say hello from me!

Just drank a leipziger gose. Pretty tasty wheat beer, and I thought the salt gave it a good character. I always thought salt was a head killer, so I'm surprised the retention on this was that beaten egg whites.

They had that at Ginger Man NYC in May, I narrowly missed getting that one!

A lot of variety and it moves FAST there. The cask IPAs and bitters alone are worth it.

I was at a beer bar in Seattle in July when I took my first ever sip of Pliny the Elder. I literally started to look for Seattle jobs postings online before my 2nd sip.

Malted Corpse has certainly lived up to its poor reputation.
