Is that the Bargain Bin Aged version of BLL?
I'm drinking Francoise Bourgeois. Its a decent BSPA from Microbrasserie d'Orleans, but you can certainly feel the alcohol in the flavour. The wife is drinking Edmund Fitz out of a Cantillon tumbler.

the 2009 vintage of nickelbrook cuvee was brewed today so tonight i had an 07 and an 08. the 07 had held up well but was past its prime. the 08 was splendid. there is a small amout of oxidization creeping in but it works really well with the oak aging. the spice has died down but the orange peel is still quite noticeable.
the 09 will be a similar recipe to the 08 but will be fermented with a belgian yeast strain as opposed to the american strain used in 08.

I had the bourbon barrel aged anniversary last night... great stuff.
I had a few good brews today... I've been looking forward to trying the award winning Workhorse IPA and the Walking Man IPA, which were great, but the real surprise was the Double Mountain Hop Lava (which I had never even heard of!).

Last night: Bottles:
Church Key Scarlet Pils
Church Key West Coast
Both were solid.
Then we moved to the Church Key Lift Lock and it was the absolute foulest fucking beer I've ever had. Steelback, on their worst day, couldn't have made such a butterbomb. I literally could have put it on my toast. Drain pour.

Church Key Lift Lock
How old was it Len? It has not been bottled as Lift Lock for at least a year to my knowledge (it has a "premium lager" label on it now that looks like their other labels). Not defending it, I am just curious.

It was fresh and was labelled Premium Lager. Purchased at the brewery on this past weekend. I just called it lift lock out of force of habit.
Worst beer experience of my life, hands down.
