I agree JesseM, the Maple Moon smelled like heaven, and tasted like hell. I still don't know what to do with my second bottle.

Is the Sleeman bock in TBS or the LCBO? And is Sleeman doing their usual stunt of only selling it in 12 packs?

I'm finishing off the night with St. Ambroise Pumpkin Ale.

I've got a case of 12 Maple Moon and I've tried two bottles with the same results though I don't think it was quite so sour. When I did up the paperwork I'm returning the remaining ten bottles. All the other Garrison beers tasted good.

Last bottle of a mixed 3-pack from York Brewery that my sister's boyfriend brought back from the UK for me.

Tonight's is Centurion's Ghost dark ale. Damnit I love this beer. It was definitely better on cask when I was there last year but having another taste is great. Lots of roasty malts, some coffee, chocolate, and nutty flavours balanced out with some earthy hops. Can't wait to go back again this coming summer!

Had a tripel night for some friends:

Westmalle Tripel
Tripel Karmeliet
Chimay Triple
La Fin Du Monde
Gouden Carolus Tripel
Victory Golden Monkey
St. B Tripel

It was a rough morning.

If you had to put them in order of best to worst how would it look? I really like the St. Bernardus Tripel, but it does seem like a different style compared to every other example I've had.

Last night - I shared a Houblon Chouffe and St-Ambroise Citrouille with my wife.

Last nt tried the "Great Lakes Eunich Brew Gruit Ale", Cask at Volo.

Very tasty dry and unusual, a traditional herbed ale - preserved without hops. Think Unicum.

I get that a lot. I think it is the oil of olay that I've been buying.
