You're right, i do live close to buffalo. However, as I mentioned in another thread without a canadian passport I have no intentions of submitting myself to the interregation of American border agents. I have been a regular patron of Cole's and I've hit up Premier Gourmet more times than I can remember.
Now that I think about it maybe I should go over one last time. I could really go for a Cole's Andouille burger and a sampler of their fine selection of american brews.

Get a Nexus pass, you can use the dedicated Whirlpool bridge crossing and be across in seconds

Yeah, that would get me past American customs. But what about the Canadian side? Don't I technically have to pull in to customs if I am bringing anything back, like alcohol?

It works for both sides, you fill out a customs declaration card and you're done

Hmmm....Sounds feasible since the 50 dollar charge doesn't bother me that much, but the fingerprinting does. I don't know why, but I get all insecure when any agency wants to fingerprint me. Perhaps that the conspiracy theorist coming out me.
Does anyone know a friend or family member with a nexus pass? Good? Bad?

Please do, I would like to hear your experience. I feel ridiculous as it is explaining the only purpose of my visit is to buy beer and eat lunch.

My eyes glazed over both times they saw the name "Muskoka" Hefe... but "wait a damn minute, this is new to me" so I tried this and the half-liter can I enjoyed today was pretty damn good.

Sinha Stout was a nice outdoor grilling beer for me, sadly there are practically none anywhere now. Remember when it first came here and it was $1.65? that was nice, three stout for five bucks... ahh well there is still St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout...

I was just looking into this passport stuff.. and it looks like there is another option:

http://www.ontario.ca/en/services_for_r ... T05_017865

Cheaper than a passport if you don't plan on doing any flying.

Assuming you have a drivers license, of course.

Well I just assumed that since most people would be driving across the border to get beer :)

Anything with the word 'Bitter' in the name (or I suppose the letter 'B' in an acronym within the name). Fuller's ESB, Rogue Brutal Bitter, Propeller ESB, Wellington Arkell Best Bitter...
