I picked up all 5 (plus some Red Racer) last night from the Queen's Quay store. Perfect way to start my weekend.

Hi all - been reading the site for awhile to keep abrest on new releases but have never bothered to register until now.

Picked up the Spruce, Black IPA and Porter today at the Dupont location (which also had the Pils). The Black IPA label claims it was bottled December 9, 2010. Is this a typo? I know the LCBO can be slow, but hopefully it didn't take 13 months to get these beers here!

I was concerned about the bottling date on the Black IPA as well, drank it a few days ago and I'm still impressed at the intensity of the hops. I don't think I got a real sense of the roastier or porter-like elements of the beer as some reviewers commented but I was still very satisfied.

Although something tells me they just kind of added in this beer to this feature? Who knows, I'm glad to have been able to sample it.

Cass, Why is the Meadowvale LCBO the only LCBO in Mississauga that is selling the Garrison beers? There are two LCBO's in southern Mississauga that sell craft beer: Elmcreek and Dundas and Southdown and Royal Windsor ( Clarkson). I try to buy my beer at these two LCBO's to encourage them to continue to stock craft beer.

Was this your decision or the LCBO's?

It'll probably show up at Elmcreek even though it isn't on the list of stores. It really should be though, Mississauga is almost at 800k people and we get one store? Plus for those of us in the south end, Meadowvale might as well be on the Moon.

I wouldn't count on that. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.

I also prefer to shop at Elmcreek but I will be making a trip to Meadowvale this weekend...

Yep - I had to trek down to Meadowvale from Brampton for the Fuller's feature...

Just visited the Guelph store showing inventory. Couldn't find it. Asked. They hadn't put it out yet. They brought out a case of each of them. Got what I wanted (some of all 5). It's a good day! :)

There are usually 2 or 3 London stores that are usually on the list, but only one this time. Maybe because it's a small brewery and there's less stock available?

Finally got my hands one one of each (except for the DIPA which I have had numerous times). Really looking forward to these...

vn. i was there yesterday and didnt see any on the shelf, not wanting to deal with the CSR there, as i have had issues in the past, i left. maybe ill make my way back down there today. i did happen to find Mill Street ESB and Bock sitting in the singles bin. (though i still got attitude from the clerk about the two mill st singles as they were part of the sealed variety pack.. ugh)
I don’t care what the U.N. says, I don’t recognize countries that don’t produce beer.

I had no issues at all getting them from Guelph yesterday, didn't see them on the shelf so I asked the guy and he brought out what I wanted. Then had a nice conversation with him about craft beer, and how he used to be a home brewer. I believe his name was Peter and he's the "Wine Expert" of the store. Nice guy!

Richmond & Fanshawe Park is the only London LCBO that's ever listed for the features. If any of the beers show up at Wellington & Bradley, York & Ridout, or Clarke & Dundas (like they sometimes do), it's either due to a fluke in distribution or because a clerk/customer had bottles transferred to a store (which I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to do, but it happens anyway).

I actually wish that Wellington & Bradley was one of the listed stores since the staff will take a serious look for something if you ask nicely. By contrast, every time these features show up at Richmond & Fanshawe I end up arguing with the staff and getting the manager to grab my bottles.
