Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

The managers have their own internal system that they view and order from. The LCBO website never lists the seasonal stuff like Grag does here. They don't seem to find it important to continually inform people of what they will be carrying. Maybe because of how often products get left out, they don't want to go through the process of explaining to us why (because when you're a crown corporation, fuck responsibility)._sloth wrote:I always come here for this information...but do these seasonal releases generally get promoted as a press release? Available on LCBO.ca?
It would be nice to have one place to look and an official list to use to bring awareness to LCBO managers regarding all the products they aren't getting.

That site is operated by a member of this board, and it's very useful.

Where can I purchase the Flying Monkeys Smashbomb Atomic IPA beer?
LCBO is pleased to offer Smashbomb Atomic IPA from Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery initially in 90 of its stores starting in mid July 2011. However, distribution could be expanded to even more LCBO stores depending on demand. LCBO and Flying Monkeys have now dealt with earlier concerns about customer reaction to images of weaponry and destruction.

Some standouts on there like the Lupulus and the Mikkeler, and looking forward to having Panil back - enjoyed that.

A few comments upon closer review:
- Good to see another new Southern Tier offering
- Surprised to see a return of the Var Tripel
- What is Doppelbock Dunkel? Which brewery?
- Good to see Mikkeller make a return. I wonder what the price will be on this one though.
- Weihenstephaner Vitus is good to see.
- Lupulus is the hit of the release for me.
I was hoping for a big surprise to steal the show and there isn't one here for me but still a solid release overall.

If all of these beers show up, this will be the best seasonal release we've seen so far. One of my favourite US DIPAs (Un*Earthly), a world-beating Belgian IPA (Lupulus), English IPA (Jaipur), and Weizenbock (Vitus), Mikkeller's first appearance at the 'BO (and Fresler is a killer doppelbock), and the return of some truly great brews like Hop Head, Var Tripel, Panil, and Westmalle Tripel. I'm actually stunned.ritzkiss wrote: Troy over at Great Canadian Pubs just tweeted this sneak peek: http://yfrog.com/o0suqkj
Now, all of the resident issues with stock levels, delays, no-shows, and Board employees having no idea what you're asking for will likely remain, but this release is an encouraging step in the right direction.
