The 355ml Smith is a pricing issue as we have to charge quite a bit more for Consignment products than LCBO retail products. Smith's 550ml will generally retail for about $3.75 but we probably have to do them somewhere close to $5.00 in Consignment (still a bargain compared to US prices) and as most of our clientele is still bars, they'd rather see the lower price point.

But assuming that the price for the 550ml bottles does not exceed $5.12, the price is exactly the same or less per volume for a more convenient just-about-a-pint volume.

I do understand the logic of the bars bearing in mind the price customers will pay for "a beer", but it is just a bit short-sighted when volume is in any way considered too.

The glassware is a real bummer to be certain. At least after the first gift pack. So far, I accumulated 7 Christofel glasses this season alone. And although I have liked their glasses in previous years, this year's format is really too small. I would like to see those beers available year round without the glasses. Same with the Belgians. People should be buying the gift pack because they like the beer and want one of the glasses, not the other way around.
