^this^
I get the feeling you guys are defining "beer quality" in terms of personal taste, whereas to me beer quality are things like cheap adjucts, infections, oxidation issues, quick aging, etc.
in terms of quality and the list you gave i dont think beaus uses corn syrup and ive never had an infected bottle from them, but i have had bottles with diacetyl and oxidization issues. ive had their beer on cask where it was totally flat and kegged beer that was flat. but, my biggest issue with beaus is that when i pick up a bottle of their one offs or seasonals i have no idea whats inside the bottle, they are in my experience usually way off the mark stylistically. you may not define that as a "beer quality issue" but i sure do.

thankfully they have priced themselves out of my comfort level (when it comes to gambling on unproven products) so i know longer have any issues with them because i dont buy any of their beer

Totally - I think a lot of people are put off by the 4 pks of Lugtread. Canned Lugtread would probably do really well.

FWIW, I think really fresh Lugtread is a pretty wonderful drink.

Sooooo... to get this thread back to where it started:

I tried the Kissmeyer Nordic Pale Ale that B-Side is launching with at the Beau's "Beer World" event last Thursday, and it was pretty damn good. Granted, I drank a lot of other things that night as well, and I wasn't being especially analytical about any of it, but the Nordic was probably my second favourite of the night behind the Rudolphus.

I'm looking forward to the full release in the fall to see if it's a good as I remember.

Yes, and HELL yes!

I once had a bottle of Lug Tread that had been bottled two days previously, and it was stellar. Pure, clean, beautifully subtle - loved it.

Hey! That was my idea!
