Anyone seen the new Collective Arts IPA (No. 13) in any GTA LCBOs?
Ontario's longest running digital community dedicated to good beer.

The LCOB website has hiccups, but in my experience has been fairly reliable. No inventory showing right now.Gedge wrote:Anyone seen the new Collective Arts IPA (No. 13) in any GTA LCBOs?
Had a really nice hefeweiss from common good brewing. Can artwork is awful but the beer is bang on style.Belgian wrote:Is anybody enjoying a great Hefeweizen right now, and who is selling it? Godspeed put their excellent Shirinami on hiatus this summer, I must have had over 50 of those last year. I love good proper Weissbier. But I hope to see the GS Kölsch!
I never got around to picking this up, and the listing is now gone. Often if something is sold out, the listing is still there with no inventory.S. St. Jeb wrote:I noticed the new listing, but totally missed that it was in a can.GtownRandy wrote:Rodenbach Classic in 500mL cans. $3.10
Still out there and listed on website for you to check store inventory.S. St. Jeb wrote:I never got around to picking this up, and the listing is now gone. Went to an LCBO today, and they had a whole flat. Just checked the website now, and yes, it is there. I swear it was not there yesterday when I checked. And no, I hadn't had too many to drink.hopdevil wrote:Still out there and listed on website for you to check store inventory.S. Ooh, ooh, ooh! That has potential to be excellent as a post-golf quaffer. Love the abv too. Thanks for the head's up.S. St. Jeb wrote:Great Lakes BURST! A New England Pale Ale coming to the LCBO.

Yeah it's also 1 % ABV less than the amazing Beyond the Pale Yummy which has disappeared from Western Ontario.midlife crisis wrote:Ooh, ooh, ooh! For such a large brewery in Ontario, GLB makes it stupidly difficult to buy their beers direct, if you don't want a case of stuff.S. St. Jeb wrote:Great Lakes BURST! A New England Pale Ale coming to the LCBO.

Pretty sure you can get singles / mix and match etc if you go to the retail store now but I could be wrong.El Pinguino wrote: For such a large brewery in Ontario, GLB makes it stupidly difficult to buy their beers direct, if you don't want a case of stuff.
I don't think you can even just show up at the brewery to buy what you want anymore?
Once can for about 3 weeks now. I swung by at the tail end of a recent bike ride and grabbed 4 or 5 singles with no problem.El Pinguino wrote:For such a large brewery in Ontario, GLB makes it stupidly difficult to buy their beers direct, if you don't want a case of stuff.S. Happy they are doing LCBO with a wider range of beers, as I might buy their stuff more often again. I don't think you can even just show up at the brewery to buy what you want anymore?

It's not optimal for me personally, but i totally get why. As much as I would love for breweries to model their services specific to my own personal needs, that doesn't seem to be the driving force behind most of their business models.![]()
