Another bottle of Alley Kat KGB Russian Imp Stout closely followed by Howe Sound Brewing's Father John Ale; Really nice aroma of ginger, nutmeg, malt and xmas spices and a lovely dry finish.

Hot Tea (no that's not a 12% Belgian IPA.)

I wish I could enjoy a few beer, but I think this is some kind of flu I've got.
At any rate, my liver might enjoy a break. TTYS!

Well, I've been hearing from people lately that the PBR is somewhat good. Now, I had a can last week, but I was blitzed, so I couldn't examine it properly. The one I had last night was about what I expected. A passable pale lager with not a lot of redeemable features.

good strategy. its unfair to any beer to follow a Dreadnaught so it may aswell be a PBR. and at the same time, having anything after a PBR will make the next beer even better.

Just finishing up a bottle of Lug Tread. I just love the taste of boiled vegetables in my beer.

I probably wont buy this again. It's really not worth what I paid for it.

It reminded me of boiled corn. It was weird. I have no idea where it came from, and it got progressively worse the more of it I drank. I got a similar kind of taste drinking a bottle of Confederation Ale once, and it wasn't there the next time. I've found that taste drinking Nickel Brook organic as well - I'd even say it was the dominant flavour and aroma when I tried it.

I'll probably try the Beau's again at some time, hopefully it'll be like the Confederation Ale where I find it delicious the second time and wonder if that off-flavour was just my imagination the first time around.
