I was tired of beer sales and being on the road, and there is little to no opportunity in management or marketing for me, so I had to step away. I would go back in a heartbeat if an opportunity presented itself, however I'm happy to do something new as I'm pretty change/risk tolerant.
you've always stood tall for the company you work for, and i commend you for it.
wasn't a fan of your ex-employers, but hey, personal taste. but i was a fan of your passion.
good luck, sir!

That is typical. As Jackie Mason would point out, knowing alcohol is not their field...

I would have tried it...but not a 750ml bottle.

Oak Aged Cream Ale

It wouldn't age long, but they don't say how long the brewery aged it or how. ALL beer is matured. Wondering if they threw some chunks or chips of oak wood in the aging tanks, and laughed themselves silly how much more they could charge for a 5% cream ale.

Mind you the Lager, Dark and Cream were totally serviceable thirst crushers when they were just canned commodities.

thinking it is more like Muskoka releasing that "vintage" winter beard that they found in their warehouse.

most of the time when a brewery says something is "Oak Aged" then ^this^ is what they did

if its barrel aged then they are most certainly going to call "Barrel Aged" rather then "Oak Aged"

This still in the works? Guess June was more accurate?
biegaman wrote:Good news though: we will have some fresh Stone IPA, Arrogant Bastard and Delicious IPA soon. Supposed to be late May but I'd wager June is more realistic.

What I'd expect. Even oak barrel aged beers are usually secondary use, so were tasting the toasted wood and whatever else was soaked into it since. New Limousin oak barrel aging on Muskoka Cream Ale would be really something... Haha.

I'll be grabbing both of these to try. The Hickson IPA was excellent. I'm confused by how/why TBS carries beer from this tiny Quebec brewery. Maybe just a token gesture?
