Is that reaction to mixing medication and beer a personal concern, or should that be a concern for all of us?Belgian wrote:I'm drinking water, tea and fresh juices, recovering from injury. I recently learned I should never consume alcohol with ibuprophen (or for that matter with acetominophen or aspirin.) Damages the liver, it does!

I got the Maredsous gift pack this year. The beers were lovely and complex. Much nicer than this Westmalle. Have they changed the formula? Why do I recall Westmalle Dubbel being so much nicer?kinguy wrote:Maredsous 10 (aged for a year...went down very smoothly. I'm liking these Maredsous beers)
Dragonmead Final Absolution Trippel
2008-09 John By (for those who have been complaining about how this ages, mine are drinking splendidly)
Are the Maredsous available only seasonally? I would like to get more.

I've only ever seen them at Christmas in the gift packs. I think Esprit reps these if anyone can actually get a hold of Peter. If you make your way up to Quebec, the SAQ stocks the 10 in a bomber, and the 8 in a 330ml. I'll have to put a 10 down in the basement and see what it's like in a year or two!Uncle Bobby wrote:I got the Maredsous gift pack this year. The beers were lovely and complex.
