Is that reaction to mixing medication and beer a personal concern, or should that be a concern for all of us?
Take care of yourself.

I got the Maredsous gift pack this year. The beers were lovely and complex. Much nicer than this Westmalle. Have they changed the formula? Why do I recall Westmalle Dubbel being so much nicer?
Are the Maredsous available only seasonally? I would like to get more.

My 08-09 John By's I put aside are turning out quite tasty. No problems here!! Except I only have two left. That is a problem.

I've only ever seen them at Christmas in the gift packs. I think Esprit reps these if anyone can actually get a hold of Peter. If you make your way up to Quebec, the SAQ stocks the 10 in a bomber, and the 8 in a 330ml. I'll have to put a 10 down in the basement and see what it's like in a year or two!

I opened one last night, and it started foaming as soon as I cracked the cap, and had a distinctly unpleasant sour character. So inconsistent! I'm glad it was my final bottle.

New Glarus Unplugged Imperial Saison - not sure what this style is 'supposed' to taste like, but I found it a little strange

Agreed - the one I had a while back tasted like it had a slight infection. Lots of green apple.
Last night - Fantome Chocolat and Ithaca Old Habit.

Had a sip of the Schloss Eggenberg Urbock 23º, incredibly tasty beer as it matures (guess this one's from early 2008?) All the ragged roughness of the former new beer is gone, leaving a silky full body.
