Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!
Also a long-timer lurker. I registered to give people updates on all the stores I had called earlier, but by the time my account got activated, people had already caught wind.
Going to try the last few stores tomorrow, not hopeful though.
Maybe some kind fellows will sell me ONE of theirs? Just one... or two?

By the way, at $700 per case, you could go to Bar Volo or any of the other bars in town that stock it and drink a six pack AND SOME. Idiotic.
Ten years ago you could buy and drink a Westy 12 at the Map Room, a well-known Chicago beer bar, for $12. They poured it slowly into the proper chalice. I used to have one when I was feeling flush. It makes me nostalgic for those days.
I'm surprised that so many people are surprised with the GTA demand. The interest in international and craft beer has exploded especially in the last five years. This can be easily seen in Toronto with all the successful beer centric pubs that have been around for a while, and more so with all the new players coming into the market, including what seems like a new microbrewery every month.
Now, there is a single release of previously unobtainable "world's best beer" (just google that and see what comes up ) and I knew this was going to be big. There has to be people interested just because they googled world's best beer at some point.
