New Unibroue 12-pack in beer stores. This one has 2 each of La Fin Du Monde, Maudite, Don De Dieu, Trois Pistoles, Blanche De Chambly and Lune De Miel.
Nice to have Trois Pistoles back finally, more Don De Dieu is nice too.

ISO: La Fringante. Of course it's probably not been made for several years so it would be old as ass.Lunardr0ne wrote:Nice to have Trois Pistoles back finally, more Don De Dieu is nice too.
Still a really good brewery especially when it's allowed to be. Quelque Chose, La Terrible.

I usually buy these packs when new ones are released, I only wish they wouldn't put in beers that we can already buy in a regular basis, even if they are mighty tasty.

Noticed a new can in the LCBO today for Nickel Brook Equilibrium. It has previously been billed as an Extra Special Bitter. It's now called an English-Style Ale. I don't know if there is any change to the beer itself; I'm guessing not. Their website has not been updated with this change.
The ESB name is owned by Fuller's, so I wonder if they're going after breweries marketing anything as "extra special bitter". Kind of like Moosehead going after anyone and everyone using Moose imagery in their branding.S. St. Jeb wrote:Noticed a new can in the LCBO today for Nickel Brook Equilibrium. I decided to wander around a local TBS after returning some empties and was surprised to find cans of Murphy's Irish Stout http://www.thebeerstore.ca/beers/murphys-irish-stout
It't fairly similar to Guinness and so I think most here won't be wowed by it, but I have pleasant memories of drinking it in an otherwise shitty situation, so I've got a soft spot for it.

Same story, saw it about a week ago surprisingly; and grabbed a couple cans for nostalgia.
Upon further research it looks like the trademark only applies in the UK and to "ESB" specifically, not any breakdown of it.Belgian wrote:Ratebeer category.seangm wrote:The ESB name is owned by Fuller's, so I wonder if they're going after breweries marketing anything as "extra special bitter". PC Pils was probably the best sessionable beer at the 'Bo all summer, so I'll disagree.jeremyg wrote:I’m not mad about all these Founders releasesspinrsx wrote:new

Might be the first Founders beer to show up here that I haven't already tried. The ratings are also very good. Looking forward to this one.spinrsx wrote:new
