I finally made it to the Liberty Village location today. Glad to see another brewery destination in LV. I tried the DiMaggio, which is a pale ale with fuggles and centennial. It is a colab with Volo, and it was so good I ordered a second. Fuggles is one of my favourite hops, and it is well showcased here. I will have to try some more of their beer in future visits.

I was told the place is pretty loud. What was your experience in that regard?
Brands are for cattle.
Fans are cash cows.

Both myself and the person across from me don't have the greatest hearing, especially when there is background noise. Like usual, there may have been some repeated conversation, but for the most part we could hear well. We were seated upstairs, and I went during lunch, when it wasn't even partly full. It was mostly empty actually. Overall, I wouldn't say the venue was loud, but I only have one data point on it.

Went to the Liberty Village location after the TFC game last night. I cannot recommend this location, due purely to the noise levels (we were seated downstairs). It looks nice, the beers we good, the service was spot on, but I couldn't hear the people at my table and had a constant ringing in my ear. I couldn't wait to finish my pint and leave. Contrast that to going to Godspeed the night before, Godspeed had a chill vibe and I didn't have to yell or strain my hearing. Night and day experiences.
I used to sell beer. Now I don't.

I can't imagine anywhere having a chill vibe like Godspeed after a TFC game?

Hammocks. They really need some hammocks in there. A splash pad might be nice too.

I bit unfair to compare post-game Liberty Village to the always-quiet Gerrard & Coxwell neighbourhood. They are *totally* different - there's nowhere to have a peaceful beer in Liberty after a game!

Both places were full, both around 10pm. I don't see LF being any different with or without the TFC game. It's a loud place and you can't have a conversation with people at your own table.

Visited the original Greenwood location recently for the first time in ages. Enjoyed this year's batch of Mr. Oktober Festbier. Nice and fresh right now, and really tasty. Always a pleasant vibe there too (especially if you like baseball, dogs and babies, and who doesn't like a well-behaved baby?!).

Left Field is moving from 355 mL to 473 mL cans.

I’m sure this will be beneficial for them, especially with somewhat obscured four-pack format pricing, but this makes it more difficult to modulate consumption and costs for consumers.

I’m assuming if they do this for all or almost all their stuff, barrel-aged or fancier things will be less common.

Bring back the 650ml format of Lasershow

When it comes to that size, I'm in favour of it if it means moving from a 750 mL format. Though 650 is kind of a funny size, and seems to lack the prestige of a wine/champagne bottle 750 mL. I'm somewhat surprised that Bellwoods doesn't really sell 750 mL stuff. Sticker shock makes sense, but I will admit that the 750 mL size looks a fair bit classier than 500 mL.

I remeber buying the very first batch of Motley Cru from Bellwoods and it was a 750. I think it was the only vintage they did in that size.

I remember buying 650 mL bombers of Witchshark back when Bellwoods first opened.

Pretty hard to find a beer in a 650 mL bomber anymore!
