FEUO, why are you going out of your way to keep your bottles off the cement? I intentionally try to get mine on it.

The cellar is already cold enough, and in the off chance I ever have any moisture (flooding) I'd rather they not get wet. I always meant to get some small shelves to get them higher. Then came the boxes.
I dunno.
Too late to go back now.

We definitely require some resizing on those pictures, impossible to view on a 21 inch monitor.

I think the exposed vapor barrier is very Twin Peaks, cool.

I want that case of BA Bigfoot

^ you know there are people that do nothing but accumilate vast verticals of Bigfoot. It is so cellar-worthy. A GTA brewer could capitalize on an affordable, good barley wine in much the same way... who wouldn't line up for a case every year??

Sadly I never had a case of it, only 2. Got the box at a bottle shop when they were loading up my other goodies.
BA Bigfoot is incredible.

Had no plans to buy anymore beer this year (after this weekend at Kuhnhenn) but had to pick up a few of the BWs (Howe Sound and Renaissance). But $9.95 for the Ren? Better be good.

Welcome to my world. I find the collection improves as I struggle to resist buying too much of anything (a vague quantifier, I will grant you.)

I put these up earlier this year when I moved, and love them. They are Billy Bookcases from Ikea, with the height extensions. Very tight, very clean, and you can secure them into the walls, so they are immensely sturdy. Not the least expensive option, but they present very well, and I am certainly not worried about breaks.
Only other thing I'd recommend, especially if your cellar is displayed like mine, and is exposed to light - replace all the lights that face the beer with LED bulbs. The light that damages your beer is specifically UV radiation, which regular and CFL bulbs both emit. But LED emit no UV light, and that means no Blue Wave light, which is what modifies dissolved iso-alpha acids in beer turning them skunky (light struck).

Ug. Organization? Boring!
Looks great. I REALLY need to do something different in my crawl space.
I often forget what I have down there and worry I'm letting something go past its prime.
