Oh, I know the heresy of which I speak, but if Peche and Weasel were to meet in a dark alley, Peche would get beaten like a red headed step child.markaberrant wrote:You may need to watch your back after making such claims, there is a lot of love for DDC Peche Mortel.boney wrote:Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch Weasel.
Although I have yet to try AleSmith Speedway Stout, this puts any other impy coffee stout I have ever had to shame.
I haven't tried Brunch Weasel, but I have tried Speedway. The Speedway is better than Peche Mortel. No contest.

Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Peché would feed it back to the Weasel in the same orifice from which it came.
Besides Expedition Stout, Fouder's Breakfast Stout, Speedway... all in a seperate class from these 2 anyways.

Nice one. That made me laugh.iguenard wrote:

I actually put the Weasel slightly ahead of the Founder's, but it's been a while since I've had the latter and both are great. Expedition is a different beast than the impy coffee stouts we are discussing, making it more difficult to directly compare. Definitely world class though. Peche? I'm sorry, I just never got that beer. It just always struck me as an overly boozy one trick pony.
