Wild Rose Oktoberfest in the brewery taproom. Nice stuff. Fairly bitter with a good whack of spicey tettnanger hops.
Missed the cask by about an hour......which is exactly how long it took to drain it. Honestly, I wish they'd crack open their Friday casks a little later than 4pm and at least give me a chance of getting some at least once while I live here.

the most recent brew was the closest (or at least my favourite) and what we're aiming for tomorrow:

I have nothing home brewed to declare!
But I am drinking the slightly odd Sam Adams Winter Welcome Ale (not bad served nice and cold). And I'm making some Borscht with Chimay Bleue. Borscht is pretty easy to fake together something tasty in 25 minutes. I could see adding some top-quality sausage and different root vegetables.

What phenomenal brew when it's fresh. The first one went down WAY too easy... onto the second!
