Route des Epices followed by a Brooklyn Post Road. Think the Brooklyn might be spicier.

Sam Adams Octoberfest in a complimentary Sam Adams glass from Central City.

Followed by a Driftwood Fat Tug IPA. Damn good.

Last night was some Nasty Habit IPA! The whole bomber just barely fits in my large glass.

I love 21A
Monks Blood is a regular for me. One of my best beer experiences that repeats consistently every time!

Just got back from a Raasted tasting. Had the Pilsner, Pale Ale, Grillol, Vinter, Hindbaertrippel and Impy Stout. I've had all of them before, but it was good to get reaquainted. Raasted gets overshadowed by Mikkeller, but they make some damn tasty stuff.

Actually headed down to San Francisco next Thursday and was wondering if I should hit up 21st Admendment. Now I think I will. And you have to love the ease of packing cans for the flight home.

It is a must! they have some new stuff out now too which I haven't tried, but I'll assume it's up to par.

The strange thing is that I also brought back a few bottles, and one of the 21A cans is the only thing that didn't make it home intact. About half a can leaked into my suitcase, but I guess I'm lucky that I didn't have to deal with broken glass too. The worst part was that due to the liquids I had to check my bag for the trip home, and it cost me an extra $25.

Oh, and finished off the night with my last Garrison. I guess I might need to look into the new private order!

That is why I always use two heavy-duty-freezer Zip Lock bags for each beer when traveling. I haven't had any can or bottle leakage or smashes yet but when that eventually happens, I'm pretty confident my clothes will remain dry.

The 3 Brewers has a new Christmas seasonal on now, a chestnut and honey flavoured beer weighing it at 7 odd something percent. Not bad. They use a fiery Belgian yeast to lend lots of spiciness. I enjoyed my pint.
