The 16 was my least favourite when I tasted them all a couple of weeks ago.

18 and (especially) 30 are excellent, though.

That's interesting Greg because I felt the 18 was pretty distinctive from the others, if maybe the scotch and oak character stood above the beer a little. Not in a bad way, maybe it's the best value of the bunch (I have a 30 standing by.) Hmm, want to try 18 and 30 together now.

Maybe it's just me, but the 30 has a super creamy body that the others don't. Even the 40 didn't seem to have that same viscosity.
It stood out for me and felt "round".

I'll agree the 18 stands out, but it's "sharp".
it's so subtle, I'd wonder who actually cares.

The 16 just lacks character (only in comparison).
The 12 is an amazing bang for the buck and the aroma is something I'd bathe in... again...



Had a Flying Dog Raging Bitch. - Does anyone else relate the sweetness to blueberries? Not in a big way, but just that same earthy sweetness.

Now on last years (at least thats when I purchased it) Double Chocolate Cherry. - divine. that's all!

Firestone Walker Robust Porter. Guess this bottle is quite old as it isn't very robust, drinks quite thinly and has a strange overly sweet/tart taste with an underlying sourness.
