Its not a bobcat! It’s a cougar! Cougars are sleek, graceful animals full of silent strength and power. Bobcats are just overgrown feral house cats!

They're planning on selling bottles of whatever is pouring so I can pick you up one if you want?
You can usually find Bobsy at the Croc Rock

You're in luck. I was told the Barley Wine won't be the beer this week.

today's lineup, from their blog:
This month's Project X (Thursday February 11) promises to be another great one. We've got two casks lined up:

- Triple Trouble Barleywine
- Chef's Bluewheat Lager Bomb

And we'll also have a very limited amount of Project X bottles, this month featuring Pompous Ass Pale Ale, a full-bodied English style beer.

The fine folks at the Football Factory will be providing chili and other goodies!
i'd sort of forgot this one and wasn't planning to attend, but i'm pretty curious to try that barleywine...

Tonight's two casks were:

Chef's BlueWheat Lager Bomb & Pompous Ass Pale Ale

Unfortunately the Barley Wine did not make an appearance and may do so at the March event.

haha really? I guess that makes sense since the beer that was being served to me as a 9% barley wine seemed kind of tame. looking forward to trying it when they do finally tap it.

Peter and John from GLB was going around to as many people as they could telling them that they managed to cross purposes and put the wrong beer in the right barrel (being the Pompous Ass in the barrel rather than the Barley Wine) and apologizing for the mistake. Still a tasty beer, though when i got the message the Barley Wine was on, i was very excited, so i was just a bit disappointed at the cross-up, but it happens.

It happens, just means i hope i am clear on March 11th for the next Project X if thats when they break the BW out!!

Both were enjoyable beers, the Wheat was definitely on the mild side, but good for what it is and pair decently with the pancakes provided by Chef Darryl (the sauce for those things was possibly the highlight of my day. Nom nom nom!) and the Pompous Ass was tastier than my previous tasting of it (more hops, more fruity). Good night as per the usual.
