I can't remember is this a limited release, or a new add to general availability?spinrsx wrote:Rochefort 8 now showing stock (not for long at that price!)

I picked up 24 today and it cost me just north of $61.00.....a steal if you ask me and likely also a mistake but I hope not

My work and I have been buying 10-15 cases of various beers from Espirit every six months or so. Pricing on the rocheforts below.
ROCHEFORT 6 $4.85
ROCHEFORT 8 $5.95
ROCHEFORT 10 $6.10
Quite the savings. Kind of pisses me off at the same time though after spending so much before. I just hope the Rochefort 10 makes it the LCBO for $2.55 or a simlar price.
Of course, I guess there are certain set costs with any order - large or small - that must be spread over the total number of units. Just like when driving to Buffalo, you are 'agreeing' to a less cost-efficient way of buying the beer you really want. The LCBO's buying tons of Rochefort 8 might spread the fixed costs very cheaply and they seem to pass on the savings.TheBeeraholic wrote:ROCHEFORT 6 $4.85

Yes but Roche 8 only scores 97 on BeerAdvocate, while Roche 10 scores 100!! What's really a turn-off is the same bar will charge wildly different prices for the 8 and 10 when their cost difference was tiny. I think this is kinda pulling my dick a little too much so I often don't buy those.
