Is there not some irony in a beer labelled for a band whose original singer died of choking on his own vomit due to alcohol poisoning?

Yes there is.
We meet a lot of people, we drink lots of stuff and have lots of fun.

Well there's a Trooper Iron Maiden beer forthcoming.

And all alcohol did for the original lead singer was make him into a nasty bitter troll who wants to kill his fans.

If its in fact just okay, then no art work in the world can make me like its bloated price tag. Lately, we're seeing a trend of Ontario micros coming up with very average, overpriced products, wrapped up in fancy words and packages.

Even the Lager has crept up over $14 for 6. Is it me or have all 6 packs been going up lately?

I am noticing it too. I remember even just a few years ago, for a 6 pack to cost more than $13 it had to be something either really good or something from the US. Typically it was only stuff from the US like Anchor Steam or Rogue or Southern Tier. A few weeks ago I was at the LCBO looking for a 6 pack of something to take to a BBQ and it seems now that pretty much everything is over $13.

this makes the black chocolate stout look like a steal at $15.90 a 6-pack

BROOKLYN BLACK CHOCOLATE STOUT
USA | Brooklyn Brewery Corporation
LCBO 95034 | 355 mL | $ 2.65 | PRODUCT DISCONTINUED

the Brooklyn summer ale was 7.99$ for a 6 pack in Syracuse last week

I noticed it too. Am I on crazy pills, or was Bone shaker $11.95/6 when it was first at the LCBO? Everything seems to have taken a 10% increase in price.
