Agreed - this is my favourite Ontario PA and I was very much looking forward to seeing it everywhere.Weebay wrote:So what's next? Do you change the name? Do we riot?
Does political pressure matter at all at this point? This seems like the sort of story with a bit of potential public interest. We are heading up to an election with Mr. McGuinty, professed lover of craft beer, trailing badly.Bearing wrote:Is there anything useful we can do to encourage the LCBO to change it's mind, or are there no options for name/packaging changes at this late hour?

I like that idea. LIke a mystery beer!LondonBeer wrote:You should sell it in a plain brown six pack holder with white labels on the bottle that just say BEER in black letters. Will prove a point and curious people will still buy it because the packaging is so different.
Drummond Brewery from Alberta used to sell this. Not particularly graet beer but the packaging amused me so much that it was what I mostly drank when I was 18 and living in Banff. Plain cardboard packing with a stamp that said "BEER". No false advertising there!LondonBeer wrote:You should sell it in a plain brown six pack holder with white labels on the bottle that just say BEER in black letters. I remember getting those stubbies when I went out to Banff too in the early 90's, it was only about 5 bucks for a 6 pack. I guess they still sell it in cans.toweringpine wrote:Drummond Brewery from Alberta used to sell this.
