I would agree to that, especially considering, as you point out, the value you're getting at only $2.50 for the pint!
and if you happen to be near the brewery it's even cheaper. grabbed a case last friday and it rang up to just under $54 if i remember correctly - less than $2.25/can.

That's good to know! I will definitely take that into consideration the next time I'm in the GTA. Damn I love that crazy canuck!

I've been drinking this the last 2 weeks. It's a really addictive taste. I keep dropping the stock lower and lower at the Dupont and Spadina LCBO. I keep wondering if it's just me buying it all. haha

I've had the Crazy Canuck on tap and in Project X bottles several times, but the canned version outstrips both. To me, it has a sharper hop edge and a more citrusy bite. This is absolutely the beer of the summer.

What he said.

And what a great summer it has been.

Just wanted to bump this up and give more props to GLB for putting this out. Been going through it like mad since I got back to Canada. Just lovely stuff. May have even turned a few Eastern European Lager groupies towards it.

Finally found some of this down this way at the Roundhouse LCBO in Windsor. Think I may try my first one tonight!

Judging from all of the extremely favourable reviews on here, my following comments may come off as blasphemy but I hope my second can of Crazy Canuck comes off a little better for my taste. It wasn't offensive by any means, I like the hops but found a strange citrusy, lemony aftertaste. A rather strange aftertaste actually. Just going off of my first impressions, I'd much rather get my hop fix from a Tankhouse or St Ambroise Pale Ale. That being said, I am anxious to give it another shot!

Citrus flavours are very common with American hops. Everything sounds normal here.

That's right. But he knows not, so we must force-feed him two bombers on Avery Maharaja. Accept C-hops or die!

Seriously though, I hope Lecocq can try both Stone IPA and Avery Maharaja at some point, because from there it's self-explanatory why those hop varieties are excellent.
