Managed to grab some at Queens Quay last night and it's drinking lovely. I've had my fair share of Robust Porters and for me the Smutty is still one of the best examples of the style. Just a beautiful balance between roasted/ashy/char notes and a big U.S. hop character. Hoard this while you can!

Im not sure there are single codes for those. I tried to buy in singles at 2 different stores, and was rejected. Wasnt surprised at Laird Eglinton not doing it, as they dont seem to sell anything out of a 6 in singles ever. But I was also rejected at Brock rd. in Pickering, which from my experience has usually been the best for that. They said those will only be sold as 6'es because they will lose so much money if they do them as singlesand it will screw up their inventory. When I offered to pay that "cooler breaker" price (3.35) they still wouldnt go for it. They wouldnt sell me a single of that new spearhead brew either. I would love to see some mix packs put together with say 2 smutty, 2 poet, 2 arcadia or something like that, but realistically that will never happen.

Anyone try the Arcadia yet? Is it worth buying a 6 at that price?

I'll be drinking it tonight. Have no issue with buying 6 packs of any of those beers. All high end. I assume this will be the same.

I normally don't like buying six of anything, but for some reason (maybe because I really like the smuttynose and the poet) caved this time.

I generally don't have the fridge space, so I have a mixed six in there, with the rest in "the cellar"
