New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
It's been on the shelves for a while now. You can find it at the Beer Store too. Beware, however, as a few people on here have said they found the bottled version much inferior to the draught.IPA_Lover wrote:Am I late to the game on this? Only Summerhill showing stock at this point.

I was asking the "beer expert" at one of the mississauga vintages locations about Rochefort 8 today, and why we had no stores bring it in.... she had never heard of it !!!!PeenSteen wrote:Around the same time as Rochefort, 1200 bottles are on order this time aroundJonah Hex wrote:Even better news!PeenSteen wrote: There are close to 12000 bottles on order with an expected arival of Aug.18 but they do not have to go through lab testing again, they should be back on shelf by the end of August
I wonder when the Deus Brut is going to return?

As is almost always the case, the LCBO launches a new product and orders 1 weeks worth of inventory even though it takes 3 months to get another order here. We argue all the time but it's like butting your head against a wall. They spill more Heineken in one day than we sell Rochefort 8 in a year but they love to micromanage small brands when their warehouse issues are witht the big guys. Good news is it's back in now at a ridiculous price (my mistake) so go out and buy it all up as we have more orders in the pipeline at a much higher price.

LOL. That's like a "wine expert" saying they've never heard of Bordeaux.Urotsukidoji wrote: I was asking the "beer expert" at one of the mississauga vintages locations about Rochefort 8 today, and why we had no stores bring it in.... she had never heard of it !!!!

But keep pushing. Everyone working in those stores is a potential beer geek, and when that happens the beer selection often improves.

Jeff and Gary say it's the Organic Best Ale relabelled as an "Organic Pale Ale." That's good news as I believe it's the first time we've had access to this and it has great ratings on BA.dale cannon wrote:Samuel Smith organic pale ale

I haven't had the old brewery pale in a quite a while now, but having just tasted this organic pale ale, I would tend to agree that this is not the old brewery pale ale. This seems to have a fuller body and richer malt flavour. Who knows what shenanigans these yorkies are up to these days.
