My concern is that the few people who buy it are going to die off, the market will be gone and so will the beer. Whenever I buy it, I always wonder if it will be the last time.Derek wrote:That's an old school Canadian Ale... with the husky 6-row barley tempered with a modest amount of adjunct... can't say I really like it though.S. Yesterday afternoon at The King Edward:
Grand River Mill Race Mild (cask)
Railway City Roundhaus Pilsner (draught)
Then at a BBQ with some not-so-beer-centric friends:
Molson Export (bottle)
Guinness Draught (can)
* Hey, at least they had these ones available *
And later in the night at Gambrinus:
Granite Best Bitter Special (cask)
Samuel Adams Noble Pils (draught)
Cheshire Valley American IPA (draught)
Great to see Larry Kress in town once again, thanks for the bomber of DumDuminator! Len, we've got some drinking to do...

Stopped by the niagara college brewery store today. They had a few interesting things on tap. The that suprised me the most was a jalpeno smoked bock. I was scared to try, but knew I had too. The first thing you taste is like biting into a jalpeno without the heat. Than the smoke takes over with a slight warming affect after you swallow. I didnt get a growler of it but though it was a nice and adventurous beer. They also had a porter and something called chopp. Tasted like a belgian blond to me. Overall they were all great beer. Now sitting at home on the deck enjoying a growler of there campus ale.
