Should probably see some this week.
Don't hold your breath. If anything, the LCBO typically runs behind their own schedules.
Off to Burlington for some Hophead Double IPA!

or:

Save the gas and pick up some Skjalfti, Doppel, Christoffel at Dundurn.

Decisions, decisions.
Yep, looks like I was off with my prediction. But its good to be dead wrong this time. Just got some Infinitum, Hop Head and Hopsinjoor (is it me, or does this taste more like a pale ale, more similar to something like Duvel than any IPA) at Cooper Street. If you guys make the trek make sure to be persistent as the latter two beers are stored somewhere in the back and are not shelved. First rep I asked said he never heard of them, went to the back and told me it would be in next week. Second rep I asked went to the back and found both of them within 2 minutes. :P

Bill the beer guy is your man at Cooper St. He found it for me too. Very knowledgeable and service-oriented LCBO employee (a nice change from many, as you point out).

That's what I love about it. It's all continental nobel hops, only the proportions are Americanized.

When American's do an IPA, they use American hops. When the Brits do an IPA, they use British hops. So yeah, it's a hopped up Belgian pale, using the same hops they typically use (rather than an American IPA using Belgian yeast). It's unique & I think it really works.

I bought a case from R&R and it went pretty quick!

Bill's also an award-winning homebrewer. He'll talk your ear off about good beer!

So they DO have it? I was there Saturday and they said they it wasn't in yet. And by "it" I mean the Hophead.

I swung by before closing last night and there was no sign of it. In fact, two perplexed LCBO employees were already being asked about it when I showed up. I'd say no at this point. Despite the fact 14 are listed as being there on the LCBO website.

Beats me. I was going in for the hopsinjoor, which they had, so I wasn't overly bothered at the lack of Hophead. It'll trickle in soon enough.

In the meantime hopsinjoor is fantastic. I really should pick up a case.

Man you aren't kidding with the trickle part. I'm sure those 14 bottles will be gone by the time I get home from work and have a chance to drive over there. 14 bottles in the entire GTA?!!

I bet we'll see it everywhere by the end of the week. I was at my store yesterday (Dundas & Mavis) and there was a tag and an empty shelf for the Hophead. I would guess that it will show up by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest.
