Everybody is doing it...
http://1075kiss.com/local-first/kiss-ne ... tar-update

Silver Star has $10 evening lift tickets (starting at 3:30), and a stop at Village Green Liquor in Vernon makes a nice trip (I haven't made it out to Big White yet).

But it better me a last minute flight... Tree only had a few cases left in stock!
I just knew you'd be a skier :D I've skied all over the place out there...when I was at Silver Star I got BC liquor to deliver beer to the Castlegar liquor store for me. Now wasn't that just a smart idea? They had piles of Tree including the Spiced ale which I loved....also... sorry lots of Phillips products.....got them to deliver Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout too...now that's just a very special stout

Man, I love it in BC, I may join you out there for good one day..

Tried a bottle of my newly acquired Tree 2xIPA; very good indeed; comparable to Phillips Amnesiac less malty than Mt Begbie Nasty Habit; haven't tried the ST or Rogue 2xIPA's. Has anyone else tried their Tree yet? Does anyone think this one compares to those (ST or Rogue)?

I think mine was a little too cold when I first had it, the 2nd glass was better.

Cheers,

the tree double hop head is a good example of an Imperial India Pale Ale, what your refering to as a 2xIPA

Its similar to the ST, i havnt had the Rogue so i cant comment

IIPA should be enjoyed chilled but not fridge cold, i usually pull a bottle out from the fridge and let it warm on the counter for about 15min before opening

Have you had the Phillips Amnesiac? It's excellent. The Mt Begbie is just not available in Ontario, brought it back from out west. They also make a Dunkel and a Saison. Both are worth trying if you ever see them.

Well I must try the ST, now mustn't I? 2xIPA, oh I'm just too lazy to type the whole thing out :D

I missed that until now... I don't think I've been on ski's for 20 years! (I prefer to board). Yeah, I like BC.
