New BT Accounts?

Hey Cass (or Greg, or other mods I don't know about), a few people over on BA have mentioned trying to get Bar Towel accounts up and running but are experiencing quite a delay. Can you shed any light on the process? Getting inundated by spambots? Sorry if this issue has been addressed in another thread in the past and I just can't find it. Thanks!

The site gets hammered by spambots and I haven't found the time to upgrade the software (if any code savvy beer fans would like to help, I would be most appreciative).
The easiest thing to do is email me with a username and I'll set up an account. If you want to relay that they can email
bartowel@gmail.com I'll get them set up asap.

bbphp is down because of a cyber attack right now anyway, so you probably don't want to attempt the upgrade off of our lovely 2002-era software until they're back up. I'm slammed at work right now, but if nobody else does first when things calm down in a couple of weeks I can probably help you out.

Wow, I just checked...and I joined BT back on Jan 2, 2005. Coming up on 10 years with this great little (growing) community!
