Pre-drinks before concert

I'm going to the Rancid/dropkick murphys show next saturday @ Echo beach, with a buddy who also enjoys good beer. Looking for suggestions on place to have some pints before the show(preferably in walking distance) It's been probalby 3 years since i've been to Bellwoods(ossington location) and more like 4 since i've been to Barhop. From what i remember those would both be walkable withing half an hour or so. I've been to Local in Liberty village, but it just rubs me the wrong way, so not really an option. Just wondering if anyone else has any good suggestions that may be a better option since they're closer. I'm definately thinking bellwoods as of right now
