Recently had the pleasure of visiting Prince Edward County ( Picton, Sandbanks, Wellington, etc )
Gorgeous area for walking, sightseeing, etc

The beer there is excellent. Many breweries.

From a Hoppy beer fan perspective:

Matron Brewing in Bloomfield -down a gravel lane - Nice spot
Their Janky IPA is fantastic, served fresh on tap there or in cans for takeaway.

Parsons - farm brewery just outside Picton- Noice IPA is fantastic
Westy Pale Ale ( West Coast Style) also very good

Prince Eddy Brewing ( in Picton )- So Many Friends Session NEIPA - Fantastic - as good as most of our regular NEIPAs

Slake Brewing has some very good beers

Visited Midtown Brewing in Wellington - lovely place with terrific staff - some really nice beers there

This is a spectacular part of our province - wineries and cideries are also prevalent
Highly recommend a visit.

Thanks for sharing! Has been on my list for a while to check out the scene there. Maybe time for A Quick Beer visit!

We went for the first time in Summer 2023 and loved it! PEC is our new favourite county!

It's one of the best parts of the province to visit, and the beer scene is awesome. Two minutes from Matron is All My Friends Beer Co., which I consider one of Ontario's top breweries (currently ranked 5th on Untappd).

Strange Brew is definitely worth a visit, and I'm also a fan of Gillingham. I've heard good things about Dune Hopper. And then there are the wineries, cideries, distilleries...! There's even a small-batch mead producer, called Honey Pie.

Basically, we're talking about the promised land here. Anyone wanna set up an exporting business?
