100 Acre Brewing, Peterborough

I'm pretty sure I've been to their site as it looks familiar, but don't think I've had any. Got a shout out in the NY Times's top places to visit in 2025, as part of the entry Trent-Severn Waterway, Canada's only spot in the guide. Kind of a weird one.

Any opinions on the brewery?

I have been planning a day trip to visit the brewery and the museum for a while now. Clearly the NYT stole my idea ;)

Last summer, I was hoping to stop by there on my way home from places in Eastern Ontario. I was going to be in Peterborough about noon, but they didn't open until 2. I contacted them, and they were willing to have someone there at noon so I could buy some beer. So a big shout out to them for that.

Unfortunately, circumstances changed and I couldn't make it there. So they are certainly on my list to stop by next chance I get.

100 Acres is a cool spot.
Indoors was cozy and nice, but outdoors was vast, you can just stroll around while having your beer.

Beers were solid, especially the double ipa, Painted. I quite liked their table beer too...cant remember the name of it.

Go visit the new Canoe Museum in Peterborough and then hit them up after, and that's a nice day out.
