Thanks, Merry Christmas and other things

Just thought I'd take a few moments to thank all of you who helped me and Scotch Irish this past year. Without your support, well lets just say it would be nigh impossible.
I wish all bartowellers ( and bartowelettes!) a very Merry Christmas and a New Year full of beery goodness.
In passing, I am looking into opening a brew-pub here in Ottawa. Now that the law allows selling brew-pub produced beer to other licensed establishments it makes sense. This would allow me to exersize my, ahem, "artistic" side by selling unique beers across the bar and also allow me to continue to produce my regular ales for the license trade.
In his latest World of Beer, Stephen Beaumont had a "wish list" for 2005. One of the items he wished for was a "sugar daddy" to buy Scotch Irish a brewery! Perhaps one will come forward in 2005 to help me open the brew-pub.
Cheers, and thanks for helping my very humble endeavor ( and for buying my 6 packs!)

I’m no sugar daddy, but if my buying your six packs help open up a brewpub I’ll do the best I can. A brewpub in Ottawa would give me a better reason to visit my brother in Kinburn and family in Cornwall. Cheers Perry and Have a Great Christmas.
I showed some friends from Fizroy Harbor the bottle the other night and they just about fell on their ass reading that there was a brewery in their hometown. I did explain the whole situation of a contract brewer, but they found it amazing that they grew up in this area and had no idea!!
I must admit, I taste all kinds of grapefruit in the Sgt Major IPA bottles! Am I crazy?
Have a great Christmas everyone…. ignorant Christian… and happy holidays who don’t celebrate Christmas!!!

Well if we needed an excuse for a Bar Towel roadtrip to Eastern Ontario, a Scotch Irish brewpub would certainly be a good one.
Congrats on the good year, Perry, and may 2005 be even better.
And MerryHappyJoyousChristmasHanukkahKwanzaFestivus to all!

Merry X-mas to all! Un joyeux Noel a tous. And a Happy New Year!
Perry , I wish you success in 2005, and hope that your dream of a brewpub happens!
Little suggestion! Maybe you should consider the Wellington St- Richmond Rd (Westboro/Tunney's Pasture) area for this brewpub....lots of us at the Pasture looking for good places for lunch!)...and there's no real pubs in the MEC stretch!
Meilleures Voeux!

Perry,
A Brew-pub You say. Sounds wonderful! I haven't been to Our Nation's Capitol in 20 years, but this sounds like it would be a perfect reason to visit.
Best of Luck with this venture. Please keep us posted?
Cheers, Doug

Outside of tax protests that may be the only thing that would attract me to Ottawa Perry
