Just watched the Sleeman TV ads during primetime (The Simpsons no less). So, they now have a mainstream beer to go against Blue and Canadian. Anybody want my shares?

At least they spelled draught right.
But what the hell is up with the weird shaped glass in the commercial? And what do they mean by "coldest flavour ever"? There is no such flavour as cold!
Bah.

I did question how they can claim to be "original" when it seems everything about this beer screams marketing tactics that have been done before. Cold. Draught.
Personally I don't see how they can expect me to show any interest in this product. I mean come on, no free stuff in the case, I bet it costs more than $1 a beer, and hello! - no scantily clad women in the ads?!?!?!?

Perhaps this is the extention of the Sleeman business plan to cover all the bases. They have the best ( Maudite) to the mainstream and now the low-end bland draft market penetrated....maybe they'll buy Steelback so they can cover the swill beer market as well

I'd say that they've already got that well covered with their contract-brewed Strohs products.

Naww Strohs is still too high qulity to compete with the steelback drinker demographic.
