Garrett Oliver on CITY TV

Post by Gedge »

Garrett Oliver was on BT this morning. He was cooking dishes with the Brooklyn lager & stout as well as Blanche de Chambly. He claimed that both the lager & stout are now available at the LCBO, though I still don't see the stout in their system.

Sucks that I missed it. I hope the people lucky enough to attend the dinner tonight post up some reports.

I made it out to the dinner tonight. Absolutely fantastic time with great food (I even fell of the vegetarian bandwagon for the night!) and great beer. I took lots of notes and will be posting a full report somewhere or other soon.

Garrett misspoke about the stout; it's not available in this province other than at beerbistro. (His excuse was that he was working on four hours sleep.)

That sucks. I don't want to pay $10 a bottle or whatever it is at BB.
