Agreed! Alley Kat has had some real winners lately, with the Maibock being top of the list.

Happening to be having a Alley Kat Blueberry Ale, which was a pick by the wife. Followed by a Howe Sound Total Eclipse of the Hop.....more malty than I remember from last year, but still delicious.

I don't always piss in a bottle but when I do...I prefer to call it Dos Equis.

Last night I had three new beers to me. The first was the Niagara College First Draft Ale. I found it to be nice. Reminded me alot of fullers london pride. Nice malt sweetness with eathy hop flavors. Also had a sam adams summer wheat and a ithaca cascazilla. The cascazilla was awesome. Big hop flavor with plenty of malt character to balance it out.

I just cracked a cold one on a hot spring day in London ONT. This is a decent, entirely quaffable lager, was confused at the cost - the beer store price list had it at 29.95 for 12 443ml cans, but they gave me 355ml cans and charged me I think around $20 (I took back some empties). Obviously I'm better at drinking beer than accounting. If this works out to be a discount beer than it may very well be my backyard goto - I've gone to Upper Canada in the past.
I'm a hop head at heart but one can't be bitter all the time you know.
I've still got a handful of GL Crazy Canuck in the fridge that I picked up at the brewery - still waiting for it to show up at the local LCBO. Loving the GL 666 Devils Pale and GR Curmudgeon, Hoptical...all fixtures in the fridge this summer. Can't wait to dive into a vat of Muskoka Angry Tom or whatever its called.

Vacationing in the mecca of Minot, ND, as well as quick run down to Bismarck, ND. These places have pulled up their socks!

Had a pint at a smoky downtown bar in Minot last night. Boulevard Tank 7, reasonably priced at $6.50 for 16oz.

Then for an early lunch in Bismarck today (10:30am local Regina time), had a 16oz pint of Bell's the Oracle for $7.

Also picked up some great (and very cheap) bottles to bring home too. Among the highlights were $3 22oz bottles of GI Night Stalker, and $3 for a 6-pack of Schells Snowstorm (a highly rated weizenbock).

Pretty damn sweet for a couple of hick towns in a state that doesn't even have a single brewery.

3$!?!? Thats a sweet deal on Night Stalker!

Tonight I had a bottle of Kalamazoo Stout again while charcoal grillin.

Last night, shared a Cuvée de Tomme with a few friends (majorly disappointed) and finished the last of my Anchor Porter and Sierra Nevada Hoptimum.

Yup, I bought 6 bottles of the Night Stalker at that price. They also had Demolition for $3, but I'm not keen on it, and they had just sold off all the $3 bottles of Matilda (damn, I love that beer).

Kalamazoo is damn solid. I normally grab a 6-pack when I'm in Bismarck, but they had much better selection this time, so I went for the Expeditiion Stout instead (even though they were $13).

Miller Chill LEMON. It doesn't matter what citrus fruit they add to this beer, it still sucks sweaty testicles on a dead man.

Good times! I'll add Welly IS and Great Lakes 666 to that list for me. Details are sketchy..

I was very impressed with the Boneshaker!

On a side note, watched the Jays game at Arriba restaurant today from a nice window table facing onto the field. Taps Chuck Norris and Unibroue BDC on tap.
