pubs/bars that serve cask ale in Ontario

We're trying to compile a complete list of pubs/bars in Ontario that serve cask ale for the CASK! website. Since the core members are all based in Toronto, we're pretty sure we have a complete list for the GTA, but it's hard for us to confirm which out-of-town places have cask ale available.

Here's the list that we've compiled so far - if there is some place missing, or if any place we have listed is no longer serving cask ale, please reply to to the thread:

Pubs in Toronto

Betty’s, 240 King Street West
Bow & Arrow, 1954 Yonge Street
C’est What, 67 Front Street East
Cloak and Dagger, 394 College Street
Dora Keogh, 141 Danforth Avenue
Granite Brewery, 245 Eglinton Avenue East
Feathers, 962 Kingston Road
Magpie, 831 Dundas West
Mill Street Brewpub, 55 Mill Street, Building 63
Rhino, 1249 Queen Street West
Smokeless Joe, 125 John Street
Victory Café, 581 Markham Street
Volo, 587 Yonge Street

Pubs elsewhere in Ontario

Old Copper Kettle, Fergus
Ritz Deli North, Peterborough
King Edward, Ilderton
Kingston Brewing Company, Kingston
Pepperwood Bistro, Burlington
Shepherd’s Crook, Georgetown
Winking Judge, Hamilton
Woolwich Arrow, Guelph

Here are a few more places that I found listed on an out-of-date webpage - I'm not sure if some of them are even open any more, let alone still serving cask, so I've left them off the list for now pending confirmation. Any help with this (including website links, where applicable) would be appreciated:

Arrow and Loon - Ottawa
Patty Boland's - Ottawa
The Swan at Carp - Carp
The Barley Mow - Kanata
Grad Club at University of Western Ontario - London
Ned Devine's - Milton
The Barley Mow - Ottawa
The Black Tomato - Ottawa
Golden Kiwi - Cambridge
The Barley Mow - Barrhaven

I'm almost positive the Magpie doesn't have a cask, unless it's been added very recently (last couple weeks).

Castle on King in Kitchener has one engine with a constant rotation of fine ales

The Golden Kiwi in Cambridge does not carry cask. The two 'engine looking' taps are the Fullers pretend-a-engines.

Betty's stopped serving cask for the summer months, says they'll order it again when autumn arrives.

Much of the time you go to Smokeless Joe's, there's nothing on cask.

Twice I have gone to Pepperwoods in Burlington only to learn they have no cask beer. This afternoon I stopped in on my way back from Hamilton. I asked what was in the cask and got a very blank look from the girl behind the bar. She consulted with another employee and they concluded that last month's beer of the month was cask but it was a one off and they won't have cask anymore. I tried to pursue it but realized I was getting nowhere and just enjoyed a pint of bitter.

If you are going through the trouble to brew your own beer wouldn't you take the time to eduacte your staff about it?

When I last visited the Black Tomato, in March/April, the beer engine had been removed and cask was no longer available.

I know the Western Grad Club hasn't had a cask there in the last 10 years. They do carry some Welly... but no cask.

Fuller's cask is only available certain times of the year, normally late fall from what we saw last year. If you see Fuller's on what appears to be a beer engine always ask if it's cask conditioned or simply keg beer on a faker. Nothing wrong with their keg beer of course :D , I just think that the fake engines are deceptive and don't do any credit to true cask-conditioned ale.

I'll get hold of Wellington and see why The King Edward isn't on their list, we rotate through their casks quite often.

I wouldn't be surprised if Welly hadn't updated their website in 10 years. Seriously.
